DONATION OF 20 MOSQUITO NETS AND MOBABY REPELLENTS TO SICKLE CELL PATIENTS

Mobaby Care Nigeria (@mobabycare) has donated 20 mosquito nets and Mobaby repellents to sickle cell patients at the Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria in Lagos, during the celebration of 2023 World Malaria Day, which was marked on April 25^th 2023.

Malaria, poses a severe risk to sickle cell patients, leading to anaemia crises, pain crises and even fatalities.  By implementing preventive measures such as the use of mosquito nets and repellents, the spread of malaria can be effectively reduced and lives saved.

Speaking during the presentation, the National Director, Dr. Annette Akinsete emphasized the importance of safeguarding ourselves and our loved ones from mosquito bites, which are the primary cause of malaria.  She noted that this thoughtful contribution will significantly help in protecting beneficiary patients from the dangers of malaria, particularly during the rainy season.

She expressed the sincere appreciation of Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria to Mobaby Care Nigeria for their steadfast support in our mission to enhance the quality of life for individuals living with sickle cell in Nigeria.
